Chronic Lyme disease, also known as post-treatment Lyme disease syndrome, refers to a set of lingering (sometimes severe) symptoms, such as fatigue, joint pain, and cognitive issues, experienced by some individuals even after receiving standard treatment for Lyme disease.

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) is a type of hormone therapy that uses hormones derived from plant sources that are structurally identical to the hormones naturally produced in the human body. The therapy is often used to address symptoms of hormonal imbalances, such as hot flashes, night sweats, and mood changes, that occur during menopause or andropause.
